About the Photographer

Portrait
Kazuyoshi Yura
Maruyoshi Printing Co., Ltd.
Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Japan

I have tried to make a panorama since 1997.

At the first time I made it by "SpinPanorama2.1" made by "PictureWorks". However the result was very poor.

But at this period, There was "virtual tour " already in the PictureWorks' site used Java technology. When I found it, I was very interested in it and got some samples from PictureWorks. It was very nice and I enjoyed it.

Then I tried "PhotoVista" made by "LivePicture" to make pano. But the result was not good enough too. I was disappointed again and I stopped making a panorama.

One day I saw 360x180 degrees full panoramas called CubicVR in Apple's site. It was beautiful and I thought I wanted to make it. But I did not have neither programs nor Macintosh to build it.

I was not going to choose "ipix". I looked for the programs by Google. At last I found the "PANORAMA TOOLS" to make 360x180 degrees pano. I was very excited by the result using it.
Recently I use "PTgui" to stitch and I am very satisfied with the result.

Now, "PictureWorks" was merged by "iPix" and also "LivePicture" was merged by "iSeeMedia".

This is the history of my pano-life. Just an old story, isn't it?

Welcome to visit my pano-website shinnosuke. (Sorry Not QTVR -- used JavaViewer and CSS).
