About the Photographer
A family photo studio business in Washington State was home to my earliest photographic education, endeared me by my father. My personal art photography interests and profession developed much later on.
The BA in Fine Arts, interrupted by forestry work and skiing/travel opportunities, was eventually completed, always with camera (and film) at hand. A generation later, the photography based Visual Media Technology degree acquired with forays into design, computer typesetting, graphic production, and printing, then moving to New York in 1985 to explore the working world of the graphic arts industries, for some twenty years.
Determined to use my photo-genetic heritage, the art education, and the love of image making, I did so, and continue to do. This QuickTime VR/360ยบ panographic medium re-ignited my love for photography and image making in 1995. I remain still more enthusiastic and committed to making it a rewarding turn of life, a passion to do what I love most - the recording and display of visually captivating spaces, places, and the people - all around.
