About the Photographer
I work as a photographer, multimedia producer and picture editor at the Charlotte Observer , a 215K circulation newspaper in the middle of the Carolinas. I shoot daily assignments using both digital still and video cameras, and work on the night picture desk one day a week.
I especially like shooting assignments that have the potential for multimedia. I've been shooting photojournalistic-style panoramics since early 2004. In addition to panoramic images, I also do object movies, audio and time-lapse video, as well as conventional video.
I have recently started publishing a blog that aims to help other newspaper photographers in the US learn more about photojournalistic panoramas. You may find it here: The Panoramist.
