Born in Béjar, Spain, in 1962. Son of photographer, I´ve been in contact with photography since my infancy, although my particular interest about the medium began at the age of thirteen. As a photographer, I´ve been formed as an autodidact, learning and experimenting with diverse techniques and procedures, from pinhole to digital. I´ve been collaborating as a redactor with the Spanish photo-magazine FV, also as a translator of several books from English into Spanish.
My first pinhole handmade camera was a panoramic one. I´ve worked with several models of panoramic cameras —Hasselblad XPan, Horizon or Noblex—, and experienced with the possibilities of the panoramic stitching technique , nowadays in digital, particularly in QTVR.
