The Antonov An-2 was created long after the golden age of biplanes had finished in the 1930s. Its first flight occurred on August 31, 1947. 64 years later we can still get acquainted with this famous plane—for example, here, at dropzone "Aeroclassic" near Vatulino village, Moscow region, Russia. Of course it won't take you as high as 4,000 meters above ground level, like the Let L-410 Turbolet usually does, but commonly used altitudes of 1,200 to 2,400 meters are more than enough for swoops, accuracy or just fun jumps we enjoyed this sunny autumn day. :)
