From this busy crossroads in New York City, shown here just before sunset and during the evening rush hour, you see the myriad of signs and buildings, the vehicles and people all in motion. From here you can also see several New York landmarks. Directly opposite is Madison Square Garden and Penn Station, looking east down 34th street you can see the Empire State Building, behind is the New Yorker Hotel and west down 34th Street, but out of view is B & H Photo!
"Plan A" for this particular WWP event did not turn out as expected and so this panorama was more serendipity than "Plan B", appearing as I emerged from a day of intensive seminars at the Createasphere Entertainment Technology Expo at the New Yorker Hotel (despite the title an event about TV, 3D and HDSLR video rather than spherical panoramic photography)!
