Yes, bagpipes need tuning too :-)

The Scots School Albury Pipe Band is based in Albury, Australia. The band comprises over 30 school children with varying levels of skill and experience. They are drawn from Year 6 (12 year olds) through to Year 12 (18 year olds), and practice regularly before and after school. Pipe Band members are frequently called upon individually and in groups to perform at various school, local and regional events.

On Sunday the 20th of September, a small party of seven - three pipers, one base drummer, one tenor drummer and two side drummers - performed at the "Green Living Fair" being held at the Valhalla Winery, Wahgunyah Victoria Australia.

This pano was taken during band warm up in the carpark, as the Pipe Corporal was adjusting the bagpipe drones with the aid of a digital tuner. The audio track is "High Road to Gairloch".

After the carpark rehearsal, this small band of seven marched and played three sets during the day to entertain the Fair visitors. This especially delighted the infants and younger children who simply could not help but dance and clap to the beat of the music, running through the band circle.

The "Green Living Fair" is a free community event which showcases "ways of living sustainably covering the land, your home and our food".
