Regular sessions take place at Dora Keogh’s pub every Thursday and Sunday evening. A few regular musicians start the session and folks just show up and join in. Someone starts a set of jigs or reels and everyone joins in or learns a new tune if they don’t know the piece. Pat Simmonds, on the button accordion, generally leads them off. Pat is part of the band "Spraoi" and also has a radio show on CIUT on Thursday evenings before the sessions.

Some weeks can see musicians three rows deep. Toronto's outstanding traditional Irish musicians arrive in their numbers to take part in Dora Keogh's amazing sessions which have attracted international acclaim. Matt Malloy and Patty Maloney of the "Chieftans," Altan and Natalie McMaster are just a few of the outstanding artists who have contributed to Toronto's leading gathering of traditional players.

Seen here this evening are the following musicians clockwise:
Bodhran: Bill Kervin
Fiddle: Dan MacDonald
Banjo: Phillip MacMahon
Accordion: Pat Simmonds
Fiddle: Mike Casey
Whistle: Bill Kennedy
Fiddle: Barry White
Fiddle: Sherry Lundy
And in the background holding court by the fireplace is regular fan, Richard Butler.

Dora Keogh - a project of the Irish Pub Group; opened in September of 1997, and is Toronto's most authentic country pub. Seating is bench and stool. Dora Keogh features an intimate snug, a massive wood burning fireplace and Yer Ma's Kitchen where authentic home cooked meals can be had for groups of eight to fourteen.

Sessions take place every Thursday at 9 pm and Sunday at 5 pm.

Equipment:
A Canon EOS 5D with a Canon 16-35mm L series lens set at 16mm was used on a Manfrotto 303SPH head. The cubic panorama was stitched together with RealViz Stitcher V4. This panorama was shot with available light at 1/8 of a second @ f 5.5 in RAW mode with an ISO of 3200 on the Canon EOS 5D. I processed all of the images in the RAW conversion software Camera Raw 4.6 from Adobe. The images were then stitched together in RealViz Stitcher and the QuickTime panoramas are then converted from the flat TIFF images
