The picture is taken in Kópavogur, the second-largest town of Iceland with a population of around 30,000. It lies just south of the capital, Reykjavík, and is a part of the metropolitan area. It is largely made up of residential areas but has in the past been growing as a center of business and shopping.
After three weeks of heavy autumn storms and rain there are still some leaves on the trees and beautiful green spots.
