Movies and filmstars have been feeding the dreams of billions of people since the Lumière brothers gave the world their wonderful present. Movies feed also our nightmares, or show the real nightmares other men and women are living in: it feeds then our justice claims. Movies sustain a huge industry too that film festivals and awards help in promoting.

The panorama was taken during the Donostia-San Sebastian 55th International Film Festival and shows people waiting for the stars to come out of the hotel to go to the palace of the Festival. (I was far away so it is not noticeable, but the man waving his hand about to come into the car is Richard Gere, famous as a filmstar and as an active fighter in favour of the Tibetan people).
