I was on a hike from Einsiedeln to Oberaegeri in Switzerland when I came accross this flock of curious sheep. I had only met one other person on the hike, so the sheep must be curious about everybody that passes.

For me sustenance always has to do with food - and all the food we eat comes from farms. I don't know why, but the word sustenance also brings up the expression marginal farming in my mind.

Certainly up here almost 1000 metres above sea level the farming is not easy and I admire the farmers that make a living in this area.
