We're on-board Sheffield tram number 74 - a Victorian tram originally built sometime in the period 1899-1904. Following initial service in Sheffield, it was sold to Gateshead & District Tramways Company in 1922 where it ran until their system closed in 1951.
Only the lower deck of the original tram survived, being used as a suburban garden shed! It has now been expertly restored at Crich and fitted with an Edwardian Sheffield top deck.
I acquired clearance to board from one of the depot technicians, then arranged the tripod with one leg part way up the spiral staircase.
Each component image was captured in 1/6 of a second at f10, ISO 400.
