Perugia is currently developing a modern and ambitious "minimetro" system. This system will consist of 25 cars with rubber wheels, running along a steel track and are hooked onto a steel chain rope that is driven by an electric motor. A big car park will be built (holding up to 3000 cars) close to the stadium from where the minimetro will take users to the city centre. (from www.polis-online.org/NewsletterPolis/NEWSLETTER28.htm)
