I have to admit that this was my 2nd choice for my Transportation Panorama for this event. My 1st choice was closed the day I went to shoot and I had to think of a plan B. I already had shot a panorama very close to this on last Christmas and remembered it was a nice spot and with the train station as one of the features it was a good choice. I do realize that this is my 2nd panorama shot at a Disney resort but since this one was on the west coast and the other on the east coast I didn’t mind. The fireworks were a component I had to wait almost an hour and a half to add to the image. The train platform gets very crowded during the fireworks show it would have been very difficult to make my shot with people that close.
Geographic Coordinates:
Latitude: 33° 43' 36.31" N
Longitude: 117° 55' 7.86" W Elevation: 141'
Precision is: Medium. Nearby, but not to the last decimal.
Equipment: I shot this panorama with a Canon 20D, Tamron 11-18mm lend @ 11mm, and a Bogen 303SPH. Each exposure was 1.6 seconds at f5.6. I used Realviz Stitcher Express, exported a spherical jpg, touched up a bit in photoshop adding the ball and made my quicktime movies with Pano2QTVR. This is a 24 shot 3 row panorama.
