This inflatable dinghy served as the family 'car' for several years when we lived aboard our boat. During that period we cruised about 15,000 miles around North America and did a transatlantic crossing. This dinghy was our link with land when we were at anchor, and provided us the opportunity to visit the shore, go grocery shopping, or to a restaurant or ice cream stand or whatever the need was. It is also a great craft to just explore the waterways or to have an evening cocktail aboard. This shot was a particularly tough shot as the wind was blowing about 25 knots, the dinghy was rocking and because I was sitting on the side it wasn't even close to being level. While I was stitching I noticed I had a spider on my shoulder. . .
