Mark Fink: Transported Spiritually Behind the scene : how this panorama was made I designed a universal panoramic head ( http://pinnacle-vr.com )that allows people to use just about any camera with just about any lens. This WWP event was a perfect opportunity to justify this system, as it allowed me to use a longer focal length (24mm) than is usually used for panoramic photography. The longer focal length results in an image with much larger dimensions, meaning you can zoom in to see more detail. With all of the messages on the walls, this was important. While you can view some of the messages on the full screen version, (which measures 6,000 x 3,000 pixels), in order to truly appeciate the effect, you need to see the original image which measures 20,904 x 10,452 pixels.
