This is room 2 of the MSF Therapeutic Feeding Center in Goundam north of Mali, everyone in this room is considered out of danger and recovering quickly, within a week or two they all will have returned home, making way for the recuperating children from room1.
I have chosen a smiling image for this wwp for even under the worst life conditions smiles are extraordinary in Africa, trusting in a better tomorrow with prodigious energy.
If in Mali the famine was for this once over-estimated and seems pretty much under control, In Niger some 30,000 children are still under threat and need us to survive.
