This relatively recent urban development in the prime location of downtown Toronto was designed with the idea to bring new "energy" into an otherwise deteriorating area. The intention was to create a space with the potential of fulfilling needs of pedestrians with different events, as well as helping ease traffic (a parking garage is underneath the entire square). Tthe result is a hybrid between real human energy and the energy of the cyber world. Many other aspects of energy are represented: energy of marketing, water energy, energy of entertainment, waste of energy and so on.
