The panorama is also dedicated to Pat Swovelin. While I never met Pat or communicated often with him, there were times that we emailed back and forth and they all seemed to be about graveyards for some reason. I would get a comment from him and I especially remember one during the “forgotten places” event. He said where he lived they would either move cemeteries or they’d just disappear. This family graveyard is a reminder of the heritage of caring for the past and also reminds me of Pat.
