The historic Kibler One Room Schoolhouse is my subject for forgotten places. I was fortunate that the docent during my visit actually went to school here in the mid 1900s. We talked about some of his experiences—where he was in charge of securing the water each day from the farm across the road. There was no running water or indoor plumbing. School was never closed for snow day—and they all walked as there were no school buses. What an honor to spend time sharing real history and forgotten places with this gentleman.

Equipment used: Nikon D200, Nikor 10.5mm Nikon lens attached to a Nodal Ninja 3 atop a Velbon El Carmagne 5335 tripod.
