The cog railway between Brunnen and Morschach was in service from 1905 to 1969. The rails became scrap iron, but the track and tunnel are still visible.

As a child crossing this dark Wasiwand tunnel was a test of courage. The tunnel was always special for me, as it was build by my great-grandfather.
