They seemed to be wizards - those who could solve Rubik's cube so fast! Really, in June 1982 I even didn't have my own copy of this great puzzle (they were extremely rare in the USSR before 1983) when the first World record was announced: 22.95 sec by Minh Thai. Speedcubing was just the beginning. Nowadays World Cube Association governs competitions not only for all cubes available (2x2x2 to 7x7x7), but for all twisty puzzles of numerous shapes. Here you can try to speedsolve one of them - dodecahedral Skewb Ultimate. Just move your mouse FAST! :) Oh, and don't forget to measure time - maybe a new unofficial speedskewbing World record will be yours! ;)
