熊本市はお城を中心にした城下町です。このお城（熊本城）は今から400年前に加藤清正と言う戦国武将により築城されました。熊本城を中心に現在の熊本の基礎を築いた清正への信仰は厚く、現在でも神として奉れています。このパノラマは加藤清正が祀る本妙寺裏山の清正銅像前で撮影しました。ここからの眺めはすばらしく熊本市を一望することができます。現在の熊本市は熊本城を中心に約67万人のコミュニティーであり、その元を作ったのは加藤清正です。
