The image was taken in the "Spurengarten" which is part of the "Spreebogen Park", half-way between the government quarter and the new Berlin Central Station. The park has been designed only a few years ago by two Swiss architects, and it contains a lot of symbolic links to past events and locations. The "Spurengarten" (garden of traces) which has the form of a groove in the terrain reminds of the front gardens which existed at that place before WW 2. The shot was taken early in the morning. The day before, lots of young people had been celebrating a "very important" football match there, and I'm not so sure any more if it was really a good idea to clean up some of the "traces" of that event before the shot...

Equipment:
The image was stitched from 32 single shots produced by an inexpensive 5Mpix camera (28mm lens) on a tripod with a special pano head. The resulting 10000/5000 equirectangular JPEG was then downscaled and converted to QTVR.
