The rose garden at Furman University has been special to me since my days as an undergraduate there. It has changed somewhat over the last twenty-five years, with Putto moving from his place as the centerpiece fountain to standing in the pool under the staircase. The beloved and much vandalized cherub was replaced with a beautiful antique Italian gazebo. However, the rose garden remains an oasis of serentity and beauty. I chose the gazebo as an interesting perspective from which to shoot my panorama.
