This original sand garden has been built this June in order to present 300 years of Romanovs House history with 11 monumental sand sculptures. The garden is planned to last to the end of summer.

(The last Russian imperator, Nicholas II, abdicated 1917. In fear of his popularity the Bolsheviks killed him, his wife and their 5 children 17 August 1918.The family has been canonised by Russian Ortodox Church 2000).
