Takamori-cho, Kumamoto is located in the east of Kumamoto Prefecture in Japan, and on the south of Mt. Aso famous for an active volcano. The neighborhood and the circumference area are dotted with many heads from the geographical feature. From the circumstances made to give up construction with Wed. with which this head blew off in large quantities on the occasion of tunneling work, it is deified as a water god now. It is fixed as a park and the surroundings of this tunnel have become the place of relaxation of many persons.
