Colorado prides itself on providing a variety of outdoor activities to challenge the body and feed the soul. The Clear Creek White Water Park in Golden was created for this reason. It is one of the few water parks in the country created to inspire kayakers, canoers, and tubers alike. This panograph was taken on June 20 when Clear Creek was at a high point for the season. Clear Creek runs from the Continental divide through Golden and Denver to meet up with the South Platte River, eventually joining with the Mississippi river , then emptying into the Gulf of Mexico. You will notice the peace and joy on the faces of those who use this water park to escape from the daily grind.
