First of all I wish to thank the organizers for the choice of the subject. As I had to do in the past events, they forced me to look for unusual solution. This is the fountain placed in one of the main squares of Cividale del Friuli, which is located in the North East Italy. Cividale was founded in 53 b.C. by Giulio Cesare. Its latin name was Forum Julii, and it gave name to the entire region: Friuli. On the top of the fountain there is a statue of Diana The Hunter, donated to the city by the Earl de Claricini of Bottenicco. More QTVR on this small town on http://www.robedimank.com/civ/01.htm My choice was moved by considering water as spring of life, and by remembering my childhood, when I tried to drink the water spurting from lions' mouths, trying to not fall in.
