The Grugapark, one of the largest parks in Germany is situated in the city of Essen. There you can visit greenhouses with exotic plants and you can find old trees, different gardens and exotic animals. In the summer there are often concerts and also open-air festivals in the evening. It's opened from 9:00 AM til twilight.
