Here the river Muota comes out of the Schlattli canyon opening to the valley of Schwyz. The bigger part of the water is hold back by a barrage to produce electricity.

The water looks very peaceful, but you never know when they open the sluice, so it can be very dangerouse to stay here.

German: Der Fluss Muota verlässt die Schlattli-Schlucht und öffnet sich hier gegen den Talkessel von Schwyz. Der grösste Teil des Wassers wird um diese Jahreszeit zur Gewinnung von Elektrizität zurückgehalten.

Das Wasser plätschert friedlich vor sich hin. Es kann sich innert Sekunden in einen gefährlichen Fluss verwandelt, wenn die Schleusen unerwartet geöffnet werden.
