A caddy friend of mine, Tom, once told me that this was the first island green built in the US. Island greens are found all over now so this must have some significance...The hole is a short one, a drive and a wedge for me (most of the time) but the green is shallow from front to back and the front slopes down at the edge and requires an accurate iron shot in or a well placed pitch.
