The Viking Trail in Newfoundland Island, North-Eastern Canada, is a 400+ kms road along which you can find 2 World Heritage Sites : Gros Morne National Park and l'Anse aux Meadows with a reproduction of a Viking Village at the exact place where they settled down 1000 years ago, being the first european people in North America ; 500 years before Columbus.

Along the way is an endless nature where mooses live in numbers. An accident with a moose is the main danger when driving this road. This moose was killed with a bullet in the head and in the back in order to stop the suffering after a crash with a truck in the previous night.
