Panther Falls is a spectacular, but little-known waterfall. Perhaps this is good, because it is a very dangerous place. One stumble over a slippery rock and you can fall 100 metres to the rocks below. At first I tried to photograph the panorama from below, but the heavy spray made it impossible to keep the lens dry. Then I ventured onto this ledge partway up from where I could photograph right beside the falling water. The wide contrast range, from the dark shadows to the bright clouds near the sun, made this panorama technically challenging.
