I heard of this second WWP too late to go for a world heritage site (Speyer would have been good, Maulbronn is already done) The 'Freiburger Münster' is referred to as one of the most perfect gothic cathedrals and should be on the world heritage list in my opinion. It was started to built in romanesque style around 1200 and finished in 1536. It has the worlds first open work stone tower roof. Unfortunately the tower was closed when I arrived, I would have loved to shoot it.
