Caption
The famous (infamous?) Concrete Cows situated in Milton Keynes, are an iconic work of sculpture, created in 1978 by the Canadian artist Liz Leyh. There are three cows and three calves, approximately half life size. They have had a chequered past: been painted pink, zebra stripes added, pyjama bottoms added, and suffered assorted graffiti. The original cows have been moved to Milton Keyes Museum, and these in a field are in fact replicas.
