The small path winding through the meadow is part of a regional system of hike paths entertained by the Black Forest Association and marked with a yellow lozenge. It is very well trodden, which might also be due to the fact that it seems to be a shortcut to the Youth Hostel which lies half hidden by trees at the edge of the forest.
