The Swedish parliament building across the bridge, to the south, is where laws are passed that control what we must do, can do but also limits us and governs what we can't do. Turning to the north the orange building on the left is the cabinet offices. The second building on the right is Sweden's Prime Minister's official residence and the building to the right of it is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The water that flows under the bridge is from Lake Mälaren and the rapids to the east is where the lake meets the salt water from the sea.
