Completed in 1977, the Pompidou Centre is located at the limit between the Les Halles and Le Marais districts.

With its exposed skeleton of brightly colored tubes for mechanical systems, it pushed architecture towards its limits.

This panorama was shot at blue hour, which comes from the French expression "l'heure bleue." It refers to the time after the sun goes below the horizon—the limit between daylight and darkness.
