Every year at Christmas my friends and I find we have no time to spend with each other to exchange gifts and catch up. Over the past ten years we have met for breakfast after the New Year to do exactly this. Most years we go to Bab's Delta Diner in Suisun City. It's a local favorite right in downtown Suisun City. In years past we meet up for breakfast in late January or early February. Due to an emergency operation on one of us we had to delay the breakfast unto late March. Not to worry, the operation went well and our friend is okay if a little bleary eyed. I chose this our annual get together for Food because we all love breakfast and Bab's is one of the best for that in Solano County. Also, due to the lateness of our convergence it lined up really well with this quarter's theme. This gathering has become a tradition that we all look forward to every year. It seems that as we get older we only see each other two to three times a year. There is something about food that brings us together. Nothing can be better than fine breakfast foods and friends.
