In this Darwin-year it was not too difficult to link the theme to a nice location for a panorama. Besides being the Dutch National Natural History museum, Naturalis houses a collection with 5,250,000 insects, 2,290,000 invertebrate animals, 1,000,000 vertebrate animals, 1,160,000 fossils, 440,000 stones and minerals, 2,000 gemstones and 10,000 objects in an educational collection.
