Beginnings - the second day of spring (as in the beginning of a new season); the statue of a mother with children (as in the beginning of a new generation); the well decorated with easter eggs (as symbols for the beginning of new life).
Since it was also just beginning to rain, together with four days of snow and freezing in a row, i got the impression that (compared to the previous years) this spring break was rather broken - hence the title.
The well's decoration is made from several thousand real eggs (empty, of course), all hand-painted. In 2005, an attempt at the world record for the largest easter well was made. The decoration then consisted of 16,500 eggs.
