In September 2004, I shot the same location early in the morning. The skyline was clean, no developments around.

In this VR you can clearly see the electricity in the scale of development taking place around the skyline of Dubai. There are buildings sprouting up like mushrooms all over the developments (one of which is the marina, visible just left of the main media city buildings).

According to the figures, Dubai has the highest rate of development around the world (currently), along with the largest number of cranes!
