This panorama was taken on the banks of Lake Creek, which parallels Colorado Highway 82 between Aspen and Twin Lakes. The historic Mount Elbert Lodge cannot be seen in this shot, but it's directly behind the dense willows to the left of the panorama's initial image. I especially look forward to returning in the Fall when the abundant aspens will lay out in a patchwork quilt of gold on the surrounding mountains.
