I’ve lived on the windward side of Oahu, near the north shore, for over 30 years. Before that I lived in Honolulu for a little over 5 years. For the last several weeks we have had a lot of rain on this part of the island. When I went out in the early morning to work on this panorama it was not raining and the sky was clear. This hillside on nearby Kualoa Ranch gives a good view of Kaneohe Bay and the nearby Koolau Mountains. It is a good reminder why I chose to live in the country and not in town anymore. Mokoli’i Island is just offshore from Kualoa Park and was the setting for Pat Rooney’s Borders project. Thanks to John Morgan, of Kualoa Ranch, for allowing me access to the ranch to make this panorama.
