The complex of Saint Filiberto is situated on the western border of the Lake of Orta, with the apse turned towards the Island of Saint Giulio.

Its border is composed of 14 chapels build in 1794, representing the "Via Crucis" (a practice diffused by the Franciscans). Its bell tower was built between 1075 and 1110 (no-one knows).

This church exceeds borders of time: it still shows a strong structure and a good look in spite of it's almost 1000 years old! I'm not that religious one, but I got a strange feeling going beyond the borders of that complex...don't know why! Still thinking about that...maybe a good spirit welcomed me when I got there...maybe telling me that I need to break my own borders! Still thinkin'...

Enjoy the tour...check hotspots too!
