Denmark is famous for it's beautiful graveyards, which often look like mini villages with gardens bordered by perfectly clipped hedges, just like the typical Danish garden cities most Danes live in.

Most of them are actually much more planted than this graveyard at a small village on Djursland.

But times are changing, and as borders disappear in most of Europe so is the Danish family graveyards with its borders. Especially in the cities many people are today cremated and buried in common graves, or just with a small flat stone in a lawn.
