The Fremantle markets are a popular tourist attraction for most visitors to Perth, Western Australia. Locals love to shop for their fruit and 'veggies' while others bask in the atmosphere of the place and gather souvenirs. Sir John Forest laid the foundation stone on Saturday 6 November 1897 so its been around for a while.
