Every Sunday, a "trash and treasure" market is held in a car park in Woden, the geographical centre of Canberra, Australia's national capital. It is organised by the local chapter of the Lions Club, and raises funds for charity.

All sorts of things are usually available here - I have bought such diverse stuff as powerbox fuses, computer parts, a Kenwood Chef food mixer, fruit and many books over the past few years from this market.

I waited for the sun to just appear as I took the panorama to represent the equinox iteslf - look for it over some new construction work.
