For over 200 years, Detroit's Eastern Market has been serving up fresh fruits, vegetables and meats to the Metro Detroit area. The Eastern Market has a vibe its own, part farmer's market, part carnival, part flea market and always an adventure. With 43 acres of open-air markets and specialty food shops the market is one of Detroit's great institutions. On any Saturday during Michigan's warmer months the market is wall-to-wall people.
